UPDATE: TWITTER FILES AND MISSOURI VS. BIDEN HELP SPUR NEW “CHURCH COMMITTEE”

Bombshells concerning Biden administration and intelligence agency illegal operations to censor free speech and political rights of Americans have now cemented action by the new Republican Congress.

In the course of a fractious struggle for House leadership, new House Speaker Kevin McCarthy agreed that a special committee will be formed to investigate the weaponization of the FBI and other government agencies against the Constitutional rights of Americans.

The news, first reported by Roger L. Simon of The Epoch Times, came in the midst of yet more revelations of a court case against the Biden Administration, and Elon Musk’s continued releases, via a group of independent journalists, of so-called “Twitter Files” showing government censorship manipulation efforts carried out via the popular platform.

The Missouri vs Biden case, brought by several state Attorney Generals and other plaintiffs, made headlines for evidence showing Biden operatives sought to have Facebook censor Tucker Carlson of Fox News over COVID commentary.

Meanwhile, new Twitter File releases have revealed an ever-expanding political hitlist carried out by the Biden administration against damaging information.

One target? Former Ukrainian prosecutor Viktor Shokin.

Biden once famously boasted that he and then-President Barack Obama illegally extorted the Ukrainian government to fire Shokin. The prosecutor had been leading an investigation into corrupt activities of the Burisma energy company, which Biden’s son sat on the board of, receiving considerable remuneration.

The CIA called on Twitter to censor promotions for a book by Shokin titled True Stories of Joe Biden’s International Corruption in Ukraine or Who Cannot be the President of the United States.

Other Twitter File info released on Christmas eve demonstrated a wider involvement of U.S. intelligence agencies in censorship operations than previously revealed.

The 1970’s Congressional Church Committee hearings focused on illegal domestic surveillance operations first exposed by The New York Times. It eventually found widespread government abuse of American citizen rights by multiple government agencies including the CIA, FBI, the National Security Agency and the IRS.

The Trends Journal alerted readers early on concerning the potential impact of Missouri vs. Biden, and has kept readers informed on government censorship now being fully exposed by the Twitter Files.
