Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu wants to be seen as a leader on a major winning streak: he is carrying out a genocide in Gaza with the full support of the U.S.; he smashed Hezbollah in a conflict a few months ago after bombing out civilian targets across Lebanon; and he watched the fall of longtime nemesis Bashar al-Asad in Syria to only be replaced by a pro-Israel government for former Al Qaeda warlords.

U.S. USED EXPENSIVE MUNITIONS AT ‘ALARMING RATE’ TO DEFEND ISRAEL AGAINST IRANIAN ONSLAUGHT

Adm. James Kilby, a senior U.S. military official, appeared in front of a Senate Appropriations Committee hearing last week and said forces positioned to defend Israel from Iranian incoming during the 12-day war burned through an “alarming rate” of munitions—namely their Standard Missile-3 (SM-3) interceptors, which can cost up to $30 million each.
