CEASEFIRE IN GAZA TAKES HOLD AFTER THE RELEASE OF 3 ISRAEL HOSTAGES

After some late snags, the long-anticipated Gaza ceasefire took hold on Sunday after Hamas’s return of three female Israeli hostages who were kidnapped during the 7 October 2023 raid that killed at least 1,200 and resulted in a 15-month punishment campaign inside the enclave that resulted in at least 46,000 deaths and one of the world’s worst humanitarian crises.
