Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu wants to be seen as a leader on a major winning streak: he is carrying out a genocide in Gaza with the full support of the U.S.; he smashed Hezbollah in a conflict a few months ago after bombing out civilian targets across Lebanon; and he watched the fall of longtime nemesis Bashar al-Asad in Syria to only be replaced by a pro-Israel government for former Al Qaeda warlords.
Israel, with the full support from the U.S. killed at least 56,500 Palestinians in Gaza and wounded another 133,419. There are at least 11,000 missing.
