Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu announced Sunday that he will “not allow” any Syrian force—whether it be the new army or Hayat Tahrir al-Sham (HTS)—to enter the region “south of Damascus,” while reaffirming his position that the IDF will not be pulled from the southern region of the fractured country any time soon.
