COVID came from the Wuhan China biolab. 

That assessment, from a new classified U.S. Department of Energy report sent to Congress and The President, now joins last year’s FBI conclusion that a leak from that lab unleashed the COVID virus on the world.

The new assessment is considered even more significant, The Wall Street Journal said in its reporting of the leaked news, since the Energy Department runs a network of national labs, oversees the nation’s nuclear energy program, and has a high degree of scientific expertise.

Despite the new report, and the FBI’s previous judgment, the Biden administration sought to downplay the matter.

Administration spokesman Jake Sullivan, answering questions about the Energy Department report on CNN’s State of the Union Sunday program, said:

“Here’s what I can tell you: President Biden has directed, repeatedly, every element of our intelligence community to put effort and resources behind getting to the bottom of this question. And if we gain any further insight or information, we will share it with Congress, and we will share it with the American people. But right now, there is not a definitive answer that has emerged from the intelligence community on this question.”

Even more troubling, Whitehouse spokesman John Kirby said at a press briefing on Monday that the President supports continued virus “gain-of-function” research experiments.

Many believe that the COVID virus was the result of genetically manipulating viruses to intentionally make them more deadly.

Kirby was asked by a reporter “Does the president believe that the reward outweighs the risk when it comes to gain-of-function research?”

“It’s important to help prevent future pandemics, replied Kirby, according to The Daily Wire.  “I think that’s a fancy way of saying yes.”

Senator Rand Paul (R-KY), meanwhile, who has doggedly pursued the Wuhan lab and U.S. government funding connections, including gain-of-function issues, said the DOE information should be unclassified:

“Classified documents leaked (they should be declassified!) showing scientists at DOE believe COVID leaked from Wuhan Lab,” Paul commented on Twitter.

And Senator Josh Hawley (R-MO) said he would introduce legislation to de-classify government intelligence findings concerning the likely origin of COVID, The Hill reported.

From Fauci Funding to Ecohealth Alliance to Wuhan to…COVID Czar Fauci 

By some accounts, more than six million have died from the COVID virus, including over one million in the United States.

In January 2022, the International Monetary Fund (IMF) estimated the worldwide financial costs of COVID at 12.7 trillion, and likely to be revised higher, according to Reuters.

In fact, the costs, in human and financial terms, have been incalculable.

Many dissident voices have argued that technocrat-led government policies around the world greatly compounded the devastation of the virus itself, even as authorities claimed they were preventing the worst.

There’s perhaps no greater irony than that the scientist who led COVID policy recommendations in the U.S., Dr. Anthony Fauci, was the same man responsible for approving funding of a firm called Ecohealth Alliance for work carried out with Wuhan lab researchers manipulating SARS type viruses.

Fauci has been directly implicated in suppressing and covering up early investigations into the origins of the COVID virus, including persuading some scientists to change their assessment that COVID may well have emerged from the Wuhan lab.

Reaction to the new U.S. government report has been righteously scathing, including by figures who were banned and smeared as purveyors of misinformation for countering government narratives surrounding the virus and government policies.

Almost impossible to overstate how wrong so many news corporations were on the science of covid:
