Seventy four percent of employers have instituted hiring freezes, citing rushing inflation and labor costs, higher interest rates, reduced revenues, and fears of recession.
LinkedIn’s Workforce Confidence Index, which captures the anxiety level among workers and their specific roles, shows 31 percent worry their employer plans to enact layoffs, particularly those associated with new product rollouts.
