TREND TRACKING LESSON: NYT PROMOTES AGENDA

Oklahoma, which does not have a statewide mask mandate, is experiencing its highest coronavirus infection rate since the beginning of the outbreak, The New York Times reported last Thursday. Their headline read:

“Oklahoma, With No Mask Mandate, Faces Surge in Cases”

The Times wrote, “Oklahoma is in the grip of a frightening surge of the coronavirus, the worst it has yet seen and one of the worst in America’s winter,” and that the outbreak is the third-worst in the country.
Why?
Outside the Oklahoma city of Ardmore, there is no statewide mask mandate, according to The New York Times.
What the Toilet Paper of Record – which constantly has championed their COVID War Hero Andrew Cuomo for his draconian lockdown, social distance, restaurant shutting, mask-wearing orders – left out of the article the fact that the COVID death rate in opened-up Oklahoma is far less than New York’s.
According to statista.com, New York’s COVID death per 100,000 people is 211, the second-highest in the U.S., compared to “No Mask Mandate” Oklahoma with a virus death rate of 71 per 100,000.
We note this article to again emphasize how selling agendas and “not fair and accurate” reporting are the protocol of the “Paper of Record” and America’s mainstream media.
