President Joe Biden, who once served as the ranking Democrat on the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, was recently called out for calling Russian President Vladimir Putin a war criminal despite his past comments and support of U.S.-led wars.
Like many other warmongers-in-chief who talk tough and start wars, Biden did all he could to beat the Vietnam draft… and was successful. Never serving in the military, he got five college draft deferments and a ranked up medical exemption, receiving a “1-Y” classification, which meant he could only be drafted in a national emergency.
Then and Now
Biden has tried to distance himself from his previous war mongering positions as they grew unpopular. But now, top Russian officials reposted a particular video that showed then-Sen. Biden as he discussed the Yugoslav Wars in the 1990s that resulted in the deaths of 140,000 people, according to the International Center for Transitional Justice.
He voted in 1999 to authorize then-President Clinton’s decision to conduct airstrikes against the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia alongside NATO.
WSWS.org pointed out that the strikes were carried out despite NATO never obtaining a United Nations resolution and “was therefore acting in direct violation of international law.”
“I was suggesting we bomb Belgrade,” Biden told the committee. “I was suggesting that we send American pilots in and blow up all of the bridges on the Drina. I was suggesting we take out his oil supplies. I was suggesting very specific action.”
Biden has a history of making troubling comments about U.S.-led wars.
IRAQ
Biden joined other Democrats who voted in support of former President George W. Bush’s decision to go to war in Iraq in 2003. But when bullshit Biden ran as a candidate for president, he said he was misled by Bush and eventually opposed the war.
And in the language of propaganda and cowardice and never calling a spade a spade, while Biden calls Russian President Vladimir Putin a war criminal, he refuses to call out George W. Bush and all his cronies that lied that Saddam Hussein had weapons of mass destruction.
Biden wasn’t “misled,” he and the world were lied to by Bush and Gang… and Biden like the rest of Congress cronies shut down, ridiculed and blackballed those of us who knew they were blatant lies.

AFGHANISTAN: Bullshit Biden, who was a senator at the time, voted in favor of the Afghanistan war—despite insisting that he was opposed “from the very beginning” during the 2020 presidential campaign.

SYRIA: In 2011, then president Barack Obama called for Syria’s President Bashar al-Assad to leave office. “Assad has to go,” Obama proclaimed.
The Obama administration, in which Joe Biden served as Vice President, launched air strikes against the State in Syria in 2014 and in 2015 deployed troops there to fight what the Obama teamed called a terrorist group.
PolitiFactNC said “Biden’s campaign said the Obama-Biden administration supported the Syrian opposition in a variety of ways, including by deploying U.S. forces to combat ISIS.”
To date, over 600,000 civilians have been killed in the Syrian War, according to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights.
