JD test post 2 06-11-2025

Via a partnership with Anduril Industries, the Meta technology is revolutionizing battlefield computing, as reported by Sustainability-Times.com.

Meta AR goggles or visors improve situational awareness and decision-making, in part by interfacing with Anduril’s Lattice platform, which integrates data from several sources to provide soldiers actionable insight.

Soldiers are being trained to use these AR/VR interfaces to engage with extensive data in real time, providing “unparalleled” combat control and perception, Sustainability Times noted. (“‘Meta Is Redefining Warfare’: U.S. Army Adopts AR-AI Headset That Turns Soldiers Into Real-Time Combat Intelligence Hubs,” 6 Jun 2025.)

Anduril creator Palmer Luckey said their goal is to turn warriors into “technomancers,” demonstrating the transformational power of technological breakthroughs. This privately sponsored effort might save billions in military spending by using commercial technologies.

TRENDPOST: The term “technomancer” lends a magical, neo-religious aura to the human-AI symbiosis. It’s fitting considering that the modern age worships scientism within a technocratic order as the primary provider of human meaning, sustenance (abundance!) and advancement.

The Meta / Anduril technology represents a militarized use case of human / AI symbiosis, and bears out our longtime predictions that AI systems will increasingly be deployed to exploit humans as data nodes, in hierarchies where super intelligent AI is making the overarching decisions, and humans are increasingly junior partners.
