When David slew Goliath in the Bible, his brothers chastised him for coming up to the battle front. He responded to them by saying “Is there not a cause?” What is our cause? A society that forgoes truth can not live free. What we need to figure out is what is our cause. I’ve said for many years here, what is needed are the three R’s: Reformation, Renaissance automatically lead to Revolution. But without the first two, the third has no justification. When we have a Reformation, we realize that the Bible is a rebuke of the kings, the corrupt priesthood, and the rich. When it is in the hands of that group, it is a rebuke of the common man and truth is upside down. When we turn the world right side up, a renaissance flourishes, it leads automatically to the third R. It is no wonder when the British surrendered to Washington, the song the play was “The world turned upside down”.
