Sen. Lindsey Graham, the warmongering U.S. Republican, identified the Israel-Hamas war as a “religious war” and said he stands squarely behind Israel in its revenge attacks in Gaza.
“We’re in a religious war here. I am with Israel. Do whatever the hell you have to do to defend yourself. Level the place,” he said in an interview, according to AntiWar.com.
Graham’s reaction was not an isolated one among U.S. lawmakers.
Nikki Haley, the Republican hopeful for president, has emerged as another major war hawk, and posted on X: “Israel needs our help in this battle of good vs. evil.”
Sen. Tom Cotton, R-Ark, also posted on X: “Israel will need reinforcements in this war. President Biden should follow President Nixon’s example from the Yom Kippur War when faced with another surprise attack on Israel fifty years ago this weekend: send everything that shoots on everything that flies.”
TRENDPOST: The U.S. announced last week that it will do what it does best: steal.
Despite NO evidence that Iran was directly involved in the Hamas attacks, Washington said it will not transfer the $6 billion that was agreed upon to transfer to Iran after the high-profile prisoner swap.
Wally Adeyemo, the deputy secretary of the Treasury Department, said the $6 billion in Iranian oil revenue is not going anywhere, anytime soon. ABC News reported that the money was earmarked for humanitarian needs in Iran.
Kirby admitted that there is no evidence that Iran was involved in the Hamas attack, but said, “They’re certainly complicit.”
Graham’s comment that this is a “religious war” is further evidence that we are inching towards a nuclear exchange and an end to life on Earth. If the U.S. gets into a direct confrontation with Iran, we will face a nuclear war.
PUBLISHER’S NOTE: Since this is a “religious war” and not one of America’s favorite wars to bring “Freedom and Democracy” to other nations they invade such as Iraq, Afghanistan, Syria, Libya, Yemen, etc., how can it be justified that America fight a “religious war” when only 2.4 percent of American adults are Jewish, according to Pew Research?
Moreover, fighting religious wars is not a foundation upon which the American nation was built upon.
TREND FORECAST: Watch for a potential false-flag attack on U.S. troops in the Middle East to justify President Joe Biden’s approval to send American troops into Gaza in an effort to provoke Iran to take military action.
Politico reported that there is growing concern inside the Pentagon that Iranian proxy forces could target these troops.
“We will not let nefarious actors pull us into engagements that detract from our mission,” Maj. Geoffrey Carmichael, the spokesperson for the American military operation to counter ISIS in Syria and Iraq, told the outlet. “Make no mistake, we reserve our inherent right to self-defense whenever faced with threats that place our forces in harm’s way.”
The Trends Journal has reported on how the U.S. maintains a massive troop presence in the Middle East and has been dramatically increasing forces near Iran in particular – in the Strait of Hormuz. Iran, Saudi Arabia Speak Out Against War Crimes Against Palestine
In an apparent thaw, Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman and Ebrahim Raisi, the Iranian president, had a rare phone call and talked about the need to end war crimes against the Palestinians.
Raisi earlier praised the Hamas attack as a major victory for the movement.
NBC News, citing unnamed sources, reported that American intelligence has “exquisite” intelligence that indicated that Iran was “surprised by Hamas’s attack.”
