Forecasting help needed

I saw Gerald’s “No Money for America” Trends in the News on the 27th June in which he bemoaned the fact that young people are not being taught trend forecasting. I wrote a comment that I thought it was a great idea and that I would be willing to start such a course where I teach. I asked for his advice and help in setting up such a course and so far have met with stony silence. Over the years I have enjoyed Gerald’s broadcasts, and I have learned many things from him. That is why, despite the poor economic situation, I have subscribed to his journal. Now, however, I wonder if he is just talk. I will continue to enjoy watching Gerald’s rants on YouTube, in the disappointing realisation that Trends in the News is not about taking action and changing the world. It’s really just entertainment.
