For almost a decade now, I have been commenting on this webpage, saying that what is needed is a new Reformation. For over 100 years, Christianity has been turned on its head. This is a faith that truth is the meaning of life, and that only the people who have turned against God live as slaves. The reality is that Christians must live free if they are right with God. As Jesus asked Peter, “From who do the kings take tribute? From their children, or from strangers?” If the churches in America do not pay tribute to the government, they are the children of the government, and are teaching a perverted upside down message. Anyone who memorizes the King James Bible understands that the book is a rebuke of the kings, the priesthood, the soldiers and the rich. Jesus and all of His disciples were murdered by law enforcement, as He prophesied, and He overcame them through conquering death. His words were not what attracted people, but He demonstrated for four years miracles that made it impossible to deny who He was. But even with that, the permanently corrupt church and state did what was in their heart and murdered Him. We, Christians, win in the end. But this government version tells us we must lose to win. It’s clear who the god that they work for is.
