THE PRESS PARROTS
More than constantly berating the Corporate Media and their phony reporters, sic. journalists, its more beneficial and helpful to highlight the many cultural changes in-progress. Trends Journal does this quite well for subscribers. May I add some personal insights, as well?
The primary reason all this money is being printed (created) in the past few years is because the economy is already collapsing and the authorities well know it too. They are just trying to hide it (cover it up ) from the general public with Covid restrictions on travel and dining-out, as well as lock-downs. The point is we need to figure-out how to best prepare for a different economy and the reality of FAR LESS Individual FREEDOMS going forward. Its kind of a nightmare (culture shock) for us older Americans who grew- up free to choose .
While the stock market has been holding-up relatively well for the moment, ( in spite of a wobbly economy), the press greatly understates growing economic weaknesses. This is intentional deception by the Main Stream Media.
Many, such as ARK Investments Cathy Wood, are predicting a long period of deflation ahead, largely driven by technology adoption at ever rising rates everywhere. Low-skilled workers and increasingly small businesses may not make it. Thus, a complete restructuring of our national economy may be in-progress.
Furthermore, I suggest real estate ( commercial and residential ) will devalue (deflate) in the next few years and many commercial and residential properties to be acquired by Private Equity firms at large discounts. The Real Estate Cycle can not be cancelled by the FED. When the Middle Class sees they are worth substantially less on-paper, then their response is to clam-up, causing consumer discretionary spending to plummet. Next comes a stock market collapse or bear market. This is all part of the set-up for possibly a Big Global Recession. The Press Parrots will then notice it all at once and the R-Word will dominate the news, as usual.
So, unemployment, crime, and homelessness are all sure to rise even as the economy continues to contract. Huge increases in government spending and debt necessitate dramatically higher taxes on everybody except the largest corporations. So, as you say, we move towards a world of monopolies with possibly far less competition, higher prices, fewer choices, and slower overall growth. Our overall standard of living is likely to decline as a consequence. Talk issues of great importance and refer to Trends Journal for more detail. After all, You are what you eat.

HOPE FOR THE BEST
A preferable path would be no immediate “Greatest Depression” (ever) because the result means the world will never be the same. Luckily, I think ALL the Nuclear Powers know that a World War would devastate the global economy and be an unmitigated disaster for all concerned- much worse than the Lebanon Civil War for homies. After such a disaster, there would no longer really be a Developed World, not unlike after the Fall of Rome in 480 A.D.
Civilization would die and be replaced by a Feudalistic society. Life would become a dangerous, brutal and short existence for most with few modern conveniences. Acquiring sufficient food and basic necessities (medical care) would become a constant struggle in what would amount to a subsistence economy (barter) and life expediencies would decline accordingly. So, pray the next “Depression” is not a spontaneous or acute development, for all our sakes.

Once again a great Trends Journal. On a lighter concern, regarding these treacherous women in politics and leadership positions, the C word may be off limits however, in many of the British TV shows I’ve seen they use the word twat freely and you know how proper the Brits are! LOL
