CNN BACK TO SELLING COVID FEAR, WARNS MASKS COULD BE LOOMING

Just when you thought you could breathe easy, the mainstream media whores are selling COVID-19 fears in hopes to drive up viewership as the U.S. enters the fall months.

CNN.com ran a story last month titled, “It May Be Time to Break Out the Masks Against COVID, Some Experts Say.”

The lede read: “If you’re out of risk for serious illness or death from COVID-19, it’s time to dust off those N95 masks and place them snugly over your nose and mouth to protect yourself from a recent uptick of the virus, according to a growing number of experts.”

The New York Times ran an article on Monday that prepared the gullible for “right-wing influencers and conspiracy theorists” who have emerged from the woodwork to stoke fears about the potential of mass lockdowns and mask mandates.

“I would almost call it an obsession for the COVID-denier, anti-vax community. They just make mountains out of molehills for every little thing,” Welton Chang, the co-founder and chief executive of Pyrra, a “company that monitors threats and misinformation on alternative social networks,” told the paper.

The U.S.’s COVID rate has fallen slightly from its recent high in August. The positive rate is at 13.5 percent for the week ending 2 September. Texas and the surrounding states have the highest rate of infection at 20 percent, but hospitalizations and serious infections remain low.

“There are many factors that may cause increases in hospitalization. However, at this time, there is no data indicating major changes in lineages currently circulating are fueling an increase in hospitalizations,” the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention told Newsweek.

The current line of vaccines from Moderna and Pfizer have been designed to target the XBB.1.5 strain, which has been the dominant strain for much of 2023. But now the BA.2.86 subvariant is beginning to emerge. These companies say the current booster protects against both.

Health officials are warning that another “tripledemic” may be beginning to emerge with the jump in flu and R.S.V. cases.

Dr. Peter Hotez, the author of “The Deadly Rise of Anti-Science,” told the paper that people need to be worried about all three viruses.

COVID vaccine-pusher Hotez got into a public feud with Democrat Robert F. Kennedy, Jr., after the presidential hopeful, retweeted a substack article showing deep ties between Hotez and Chinese coronavirus researchers who may well be responsible for a Wuhan lab disaster that let loose COVID-19. The mainstream presstitutes don’t care about public health. Indeed, a recent Gallup poll showed that depression has never been so prevalent among Americans—especially the young.

The poll was released in May and found 29 percent of Americans have been diagnosed with depression at some point in their lives, while the percentage of those currently being treated for the mental illness has hit 17.8 percent.

Dr. Rebecca Brendel, president of the American Psychiatric Association, which was not involved in the new research, ironically, told CNN, one of the media’s biggest proponents of lockdowns that based its business model on selling COVID hysteria, that it is not surprising that more Americans are battling with depression.

“There are lingering effects on our health, especially our mental health, from the past three years that disrupted everything we knew,” she said.
