I would have to say that this election, the dominant political ideology of both parties does not come from either Adam Smith or Karl Marx; it comes from Jack Kevorkian. Kevorkianomics is what both sides are advocating.

Politicians as always playing the general public off against fear. The Media being used to communicate fear statistics rather than ‘NEW FACTS’, of course the economy’s bad – no-one went to work – duh! Simple fraud by all involved – both should have their practicing licenses suspended!
Okay so lets forecast forward – so what if the Debt is $1,000 trillion…… just means all the corporations are nationalized. All the corporations then buy all the small companies to take 100% market share – Big deal? Can we sustain the mass population standard of living for another 100 years – sure! Does everyone need to own their houses and cars – do they now? – no! So why change anything…..
Back to Basics:
Human needs = shelter & food & warmth…… for all 3 you need money and to get money you need a job……
The MASSIVE danger is automation automation, automation!!!!- this is coming in a really big way.
Automation = un-employment.
Coupled with global migration, means an international workforce, which means international paycheck rates….. Be prepared to work almost for free.
THIS is a major issue!
Examples: China and Tesla (biggest US success at the minute) totally automated factories! Online banking: Automated financial services, Online shopping – groceries and retail (Walmart & Amazon) – all significantly more automated than 5 years ago.
As a father, how to ready our families and the next generation for this is my single biggest concern. As previously highlighted – for them my trend forecast is people will be always needed with practical tradesman skills. There’s a generation that’s 60-80 that are the last who really knew how to do anything themselves, these will be all gone in 10 years so I believe there’s real opportunity in this sector.
