Nvidia has committed as much as $10 billion and Microsoft up to $5 billion to Anthropic, the young AI company that makes the Claude platform. In return, Anthropic has pledged to spend $30 billion using Microsoft’s cloud services that, almost certainly, will be powered by Nvidia’s chips.
