STAY AND DIE

Afghanistan, Iraq, Libya, Syria, Yemen … America’s endless wars of regime change have not only cost trillions, murdered millions, destroyed nations and fanned the flames of revenge, they have greatly fueled the refugee problem.

Silent in the media and taboo from politicians, barely a word is spoken as to why Europe is flooded with people who have risked their lives to escape war-torn violence rather than stay in their country and lose their lives. 

As noted in a recent Pew Research poll, a majority of Americans do not believe the conflicts in Iraq and Afghanistan are worth the cost. 

And in opposition to enriching the military industrial complex mentality of American politicians, a July IPSOS polled showed 70 percent of Americans consider U.S. arms sales a hazard to the nation’s security while only 9 percent said it made the U.S. more safe.  

TRENDPOST: Since the end of World War II, Congress has been in direct violation of the U.S Constitution by granting war powers to El Presidente. 

Article 1, Section 8, Clause 1 clearly states: “The Congress shall have Power . . . To declare War, grant Letters of Marque and Reprisal, and make Rules conquering Captures on Land and Water.

And despite the clause that succinctly states, “To raise and support Armies, but no Appropriation of Money to that Use shall be for a longer Term than two Years,” the Afghan War and others continue to drag on.

When did the flood of migrants and refugees escalate?

Long forgotten was the warning from Libyan leader Muammar Qaddafi before he was murdered in a regime change war led by French President Nicolas “Slime Ball” Sarkozy, U.S. President Barack “Nobel Peace of Crap Prize Winner” Obama and U.K Prime Minister David “No Cajones” Cameron.

Appearing on France 24 television on March 7, 2011, Qaddafi stated that floods of migrants from Africa and the Middle East would swarm into Europe if his government was overthrown: “There are millions of blacks who could come to the Mediterranean to cross over to France and Italy, and Libya plays a role in security in the Mediterranean,” he said prophetically.
 
Now, eight years later, the “lost security” that we wrote and warned about in the Summer 2011 Trends Journal has become harsh reality: “It is clearly now undeniable that this country (Libya) finds itself in this situation because someone, in 2011, put their own interests ahead of those of the Libyan people and of Europe itself,” Italian Defense Minister Elisabetta Trenta proclaimed last September.
 
Identity Politics
 
In this era of identifying right and wrong with labels based on race, creed, color, gender, etc., good and evil has no barriers or limits.
 
For example, Barack Obama, who was reluctant to intervene in Libya, was persuaded to use deadly military force to overthrow Qaddafi by Washington’s three witches of Macbeth: “The change became possible, though, only after Mrs. Clinton joined Samantha Power, a senior aide at the National Security Council, and Susan Rice, Mr. Obama’s ambassador to the United Nations, who had been pressing the case for military action,” wrote the New York Times in the lead up to the war.
