Do you think that Bloomberg would have spent hundreds of millions of dollars under the tax plan that I have been proposing on the page for a long time? Taxes should only begin at $500 million dollars in assets. Above that point, 99% should be taxed, not because the government needs the money, but to protect the people from an undue influence by the predator class. Everyone below half a billion dollars in assets should have a zero tax rate, and the government should encourage them to become as wealthy as possible and start paying taxes. To even the playing field, there has to be a maximum wage, not a minimum wage.

Gerald, I have to disagree with you on your stance on the issue of climate change, specifically your reluctance to talk about this issue. How come you have failed to identify this as a major trend? You say that we are all going to be dead before the climate changes because we are being poisoned by the food they’re giving us, by the water, the polluted air we breath, from the radiation, etc. When you say this it detracts from the seriousness of the situation. No doubt these things are contributing to our death and no one really knows the extent of their impact with people dying of all sorts of cancers and sicknesses because of the food, water and air we take in and this significantly reduces the quality of our lives. But climate change whether man made or not is also having an impact by sometimes wiping out large whole villages or large hectares of land and again the full knock on effects that this has no one really knows. The issue of climate change however has been taken far too lightly and people better wake up before natural disasters become more widespread and of greater impact putting large sectors of the population at risk. This could get to the point where such an impact could be on the same scale as a widespread nuclear war. Also, the poisons we find in our food, water and air is a direct result of the industrial and agricultural practices that are also contributing to climate change so the two are directly linked. You say Gerald that you don’t get involved in the climate debate but only that if humans dump millions of tonnes of chemicals and pollutants into the earth, into the water and into the air that it’s probably going to have an effect and I couldn’t agree more. But it’s getting to the point now where it’s very serious. And these people who deny climate change completely because they fear that the government is going to tackle it by taxing us more and because it will impact the economy are worse than the children. No doubt these assholes in government might do that and the economy might suffer depending on how a response to this issue is handled but to say that climate change is not occurring because of this is stupid as they are two completely seperate issues. It was our focus on the bottom line and our human greed that got us into this mess and now these very same forces are making us deny that the problem even exists. We are blinded by our own greed and if we continue with this denial and don’t wake up as a species and change our way of life, I forecast that the consequences to us all will become worse and worse over the coming years until we reach a point where nature will make that choice for us.

I agree with mnpund. It bothers me that the discussion on the biggest threat to human kind Climate destruction and nuclear war is not front and center. I support the Share International publication because they do talk about this. I have contributed to Occupy Peace, and believe Gerald brings important information. But I haven’t figured out how anyone can protect or inoculate themselves from what is inevitably going to be a ruff ride. But what I see in GC platform is what I have been waiting for, the unrest all over the world. People are calling for justice. In the people, young and old, (mostly young) all over the world coming out to the streets and risking life and limb, this is hope… they will take down it all. Humans don’t change until they are up against the wall. Ok boomers….
